Surprisingly spacious despite its compact footprint, the BYD DOLPHIN comfortably accommodates up to five adults. Packed with convenience, the vehicle is equipped with a range of standard features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Intelligent Cruise Control and surround view cameras.

The BYD DOLPHIN boasts a stylish exterior adorned with crisp creases and graceful curves, culminating in an elegant design. This maneuverable hatchback not only exudes efficiency but also offers accessibility. Instantly recognizable from the side, its distinctive rounded shape is accentuated by sharp detailing on the doors.

With a generous wheelbase of 2.70 m, there's ample space for both the driver and passengers. Additionally, the standard 16-inch alloys can be upgraded to 17-inch wheels, providing an option for a more sporty appearance.

SAFETY

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

The BYD DOLPHIN sets the benchmark for safety among electric cars, as it comes standard with an extensive array of advanced driver assistance features. Positioned as one of the safest options in the market, all versions of the BYD DOLPHIN include a comprehensive suite of safety technologies such as a 360-degree camera, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Keep Assistance (LKA) and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC).

Enhancing its safety profile, the BYD DOLPHIN also incorporates Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Rear Cross Traffic Brake (RTCB) as standard features. Utilising millimeter-wave radar, these features actively detect other road users approaching from behind during reverse maneuvers. In the event of an imminent collision, the car issues a warning and automatically engages the brakes, further solidifying its commitment to safety.

Constructed on the cutting-edge BYD e-Platform 3.0, exclusively tailored for pure electric vehicles, the BYD DOLPHIN boasts numerous advantages in terms of intelligence, efficiency, safety and aesthetics. Leveraging the e-Platform 3.0, the BYD DOLPHIN achieves a more expansive visual appeal, characterised by short front and rear overhangs and an extended wheelbase. This design not only enhances the overall aesthetic but also contributes to a more spacious rear passenger compartment, featuring a flat floor that ensures ample comfort and space for passengers in the middle seat.

BYD BLADE BATTERY

The revolutionary Blade Battery, a hallmark of the BYD DOLPHIN, has been transforming safety, durability, and performance in the electric vehicle (EV) industry for over 28 years. Crafted from lithium iron phosphate (LFP), a secure and sustainable material that avoids the use of scarce raw materials like nickel and cobalt, this battery offers unparalleled benefits. The BYD DOLPHIN is equipped with a 60 kWh LFP Blade Battery, delivering an impressive range of up to 427 km on a single charge.

The BYD DOLPHIN benefits from 11 kW AC charging, enabling a full recharge in approximately 8 hours from empty to full. Additionally, the vehicle supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 29 minutes.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The BYD DOLPHIN comes with an advanced heat pump system as standard, enhancing the car's energy efficiency and overall range. This innovative system harnesses residual heat from various sources, including the powertrain, passenger compartment, and batteries, for both heating and cooling purposes.

The heat pump system is designed for optimal efficiency across a broad spectrum of temperatures, ensuring the BYD DOLPHIN remains comfortable in diverse weather conditions, whether hot or cold.
